Vintage Porcelain Ceramic Tea Pot by Nan Coffin. A wonderful handmade Tea Pot by famed Ceramic Artist Nan Coffin in San Diego, California.
This porcelain pot has a tower like shape with a long trumpet like spout, an attached ceramic handle with ceramic lid. It is glazed in an putty gray high gloss glaze, with the base of the pot glazed in a burnt orange almost ombré matte soda fired glaze, it also has an arrangement of small patterned square stamped inclusions around the pot.
This Tea Pot is quite large, it measures approximately 6” inches tall and a 5” inch bottom diameter but tapers to almost 3” inches at the top. It holds 24 fl.oz which is about 3 to 4 cups capacity, depending on the style of cups used. It is in beautiful vintage condition and top having a somewhat modern rustic look would look fabulous in a similar style kitchen or living space. The tea pot would be a wonderful addition for any Tea Pot collector.

NCECA stands for National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts and has an annual collaboration and celebration of Ceramic Art Education, both teaching and learning in a Global community.
