I like the idea of mounting quilts on canvas, especially small quilts. It gives the quilt more presence and a finished look. It's relatively small size - 12"x16"makes it versatile, it is large enough to stand alone above your desk, but it will work well with other pieces. I made it with strips of batiks and prints and in autumn colors, curve pieced to create an abstract landscape. The free motion quilting enhances the curves of the landscape and provides texture.
The finished quilt is attached a framed canvas and it has a hanging wire on the back and is ready to hang.
