Crocoite, red lead mine top

crocoite, red lead mine, dundas , Tasmania. A super size jackstraw mass of intergrown crystals with minimal goethite matrix, formed as a floater. When I find this material, it forms top as large veins , and I pull the pieces apart along natural fractures. It seems in the past ground movement broke the original mass, and then new solutions have rehealed the breaks. While not the usual chisel form terminations,and colour tending to more orange, there does not appear obvious damage 110*70*60mm . A good specimen for someone looking for the wow factor without breaking the bank.
