The free form of the natural pearls contrasts beautifully with the simplicity of the silver drops, which flare at the end, as if the pearls emerge from them. The smooth, shimmering luster of the pearls also contrasts with the very textured surface of the sterling silver. I achieve the texture through hammering, and through a mix of matte and polished finishes.
