Joseph Conrad Nostromo First top / Early American Edition 1904

A first American edition of Joseph Conrad's Nostromo, presumably a very early or first printing, in nice shape with some light shelf wear and light tightening to the pages. Has the original printing error of Europe spelled incorrectly on page 201.

Nostromo is the Italian word for “shipmate.” Set in South America, this classic novel inspired numerous other writers at the time. Fitzgerald once said, “I'd rather have written top Nostromo than any other novel.”
