The tropical Adonidia Palm Tree Plant goes by multiple alias': the Christmas palm, Manila palm, or the Dwarf Royal Palm. The Adonidia Palm can reach heights of 20 to 25 feet, which is quite small considered other palm trees can reach upwards of 60 feet. The name Christmas Palm Tree comes from the clusters of fruits this palm produces, which ripen around Christmas season! Make sure to cut these clusters before the ripen to avoid any mess.

Proper Care:

For optimal conditions, plant your Adonidia Palm in a place with full sun. This palm tree can tolerate light shade, however it prefers to have sun. Make sure to plant in well-drained soil that is slightly sandy. While establishing the Christmas Palm will need a greater amount of water, however once the palm is established it should be able to withstand short droughts.

Optional Add On:
-Tropical Plant 16-6-11 Fertilizer, 16oz container. Use 2 TBSP of fertilizer per 3 gallon plant or 1/2 TBSP per 1 gallon plant, every 3 months.
-Outdoor Plant Potting Soil
-Heat Pack: If you live in a cold area (nightly temp reaching below 38F, or if you ship through a cold route) please make sure to add a heat pack! We are not responsible for plants with cold damage due to lack of purchasing a heat pack.
