Antique French pure linen hand embroidered pillow case.
About 27½" x 24".
Hand embroidered DN monogram about 6" x 4".
Magnificently hand embroidered flowers on either side of the letters, they have fine French dots and ladder work centres.
The half inch deep border closed with hand embroidered drawn thread work/ladder work.
Matching floral sprays on two top corners.
5 mother of pearl buttons and hand embroidered button holes closing back.
Pure crisp linen pillow case, washed and ironed, in excellent unused condition.
A sprinkle of storage marks at edge, photographed.

I personally wash and iron all of the linen for sale at Frenchaffaires top, it's the best way to closely examine every piece - a heavily starched or dusty item, once washed may show wearing or holes.
