19th c. Rice County Court House Faribault Minnesota; Pen & Ink Etching J. LaRoche
Very attractive etching purchased with other similar works. All of important history markers in the beautiful town of Faribault in MN.
All I've found on the artist is that he is/was a Memorialist, Jeff LaRoche. Nothing else out there concerning more of his work, which is so very good. I did find a booklet cataloging the history of this town where Mr. LaRoche did work and that was dating to 1976.
Excellent rendition of the 'Old Rice County Court House'. Bordered with a decorative ornamentation and titled in a adjoining box under the artwork.
Approx. dimensions of artwork: 11" x 8.5" and framed 15.5" by 13". Matted with a two toned tan and soft brown.
Nice oak frame. Backside is a white hardboard. Signature in the lawn area of the artwork. J. LaRoche
