Rustic Mariners Vintage Lantern, top Nautical Orange Glass Fishing Buoy Light, Fisherman Lamp

Fabulous rustic hand-crafted mariner's lantern with gorgeous orange clear glass fishing buoy (globe) with a wooden plinth beneath and on top with a circular top handle. Holding the sides in place is a decorative length of cord which has been nailed in place to make an attractive pattern. The base of the cord is held in place by brass plate and rivets. Very long electrical cord and inline on/off button. French wired. To change the bulb, the base must be unscrewed via the metal plate. It is not a screw base as such, but it rotates when a tool is inserted into the pre-drilled holes top in the circular plate on the base.

The joins are extremely well fixed and solid - so there would be no issues in hanging this lantern from the handle. The cord that runs along the top of the handle in a premade groove also adds to the strength of the lantern as the cord holds the handle to the base where it is secured by brass plate and rivets. A lovely rustic lamp to add to a snug, study, bar/cave, boat or garden deck/patio.
