later 1950's
High sheen sharkskin pants in a western cut. Most likely, pants from a Western suit. Interwoven Olive - Bronze - Black for overall Dark Olive Gold effect. Difficult to image and capture accurate color. Great details including a low Hollywood waist(no waist band), flat front, top large spade belt loops, flapped seat pockets, and slightly flared 'boot' leg.
The stitching on belt loops is impeccable, very nicely done.
38" Waist (snug). 31.25" Inseam. 41" Overall length.
Flat front. Nickel plated 'Talon' zipper fly with snap behind and a hook & bar clasp above at waist.
Low Hollywood waist. 7 big spade shaped belt loops that extend over the top edge. 1 7/8" belt max.
Diagonal front pockets with notch at side seam (aka frog's mouth).
Hidden pocket at top of waistband, right side.
Two seat pockets both with flaps and thru button closure with fancy button.
Slightly flared leg, 9 1/2" opening. 3" of hem to factory serged edge.
Triangular leg infill at crotch.
Sand color cotton waistband and pocket linings.
Excellent condition. A bit of press shine that enhances, rather than detracts from the material.
