This beautiful, hand-painted plate was made in the Meiji-era, and features a contrasting blue / white colourway.
The floral design is known as 'Mijin' - which refers to the small size of the pattern.
The size and shape of the plate, make it very useful - perfect for serving cake or small dishes.
Overall, the condition is very good, there is a small chip on the outside of the plate which does not affect usage - please see the images for more information.
