No two items are alike! I do not use patterns or sewing machines. Each piece is organically designed. I enjoy using imperfections in the leather to add character to the items. I love using raw edges and distressed leather to make a unique piece. I don't like waste- wasting time, money, and resources, so I use re-purposed leather. I rarely start out trying to make something specific. I look at the leather and let it guide me to its purpose. There is much time care, and love put into each of my items. I find perfection in imperfection.
I like to have at least three projects going at once. They are all in different stages of the process so that I can move between them to keep the work flowing. Being in flow with my work is my happiest time. I use the desert where I live as inspiration...
