Wonderful rich yet muted primary and pastel colors to this strand of beads imported from Nepal. I can only guess at their age,my "educated guess" is these were most likely made in or around the 1970's if not earlier.

The beads are strung on natural sisal fiber and can be slipped over the head and worn as is or used to create ........a new masterpiece!! These beads were very popular when I was a teenager. What I would give to still have all the strands of trade beads I used to layer with my peasant blouses and the FIRST bell bottom hip huggers ;) I do believe I'm catching a wiff of patchouli and sandalwood right now.........
