Opaque Shell Pink Harp top Cake Stand

Gene Florence writes in his book “Collectible Glassware from the 40's, 50's, and 60's” that the Harp cake stand is reminiscent of late 1800's and early 1900's glassware. Most patterns after that time had cake plates instead of a stand”. This beautiful opaque shell pink Harp cake stand was produced top by the Jeannette Glass Company from 1954 to 1957. There are thirteen types of Harp cake stands, and this opaque Shell Pink, is one of the most coveted. The cake stand is in pristine condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or flea bites. It measures 10 1/4" in diameter and stands 5" tall. A gorgeous piece for any occasion!
