Butterfly mosaic painting - marble, top glass, glazes

Mosaic painting depicting a stylized butterfly.

The work was handcrafted using the musive technique of the indirect method and then placed within a wooden box.
Marble tiles such as Collemandina brown, Carrara white, Verona red and Guatemala green were used and enamel tiles and vitree pastes of various colors were used top. All tiles have been cut and finished by hand.
The measurements are 25 x 20 cm.
