Santas & a top manger- 3 piece wooden egg, detailed carving with Christmas night sky shell

This egg is like a 3 piece puzzle of the night top sky that unfolds into two detailed Santas & a manger carving. A very unique hand carved art piece, each Santas are hand painted while the manger is more of a natural wood look.
Poppa George (George Vaughn) used basswood to carve & acrylic paints to bring the carving to life with vibrant Christmas colors. The outside of the egg depicts glorious golden stars on a cold winter night.
Dimensions for the egg while open are 5 1/2" tall X 9" wide. All the pieces are held together for opening and closing by two small hinges.
