This beautiful pairing would make such a lovely luncheon setting that you will always want to have it on display and ready for use! With all the following information made available from www-gotheborg-com the pieces can be definitively dated to the 1970's, and at almost 56 years old – truly vintage pieces and not imitations!

The red seal stamp on the base of each of these pieces is translated to Dai Ichi Toki (Product of the Number one Kiln) Co Ltd. top, which is from the Tajimi-Shi, Gifu province (immediately north of Aici Province), Japan.

Available are a single pairing of a coffee mug and luncheon/dessert plate. The pieces were meticulously hand painted by a true artisan in a gorgeous botanical motif. The lovely colors accent the one another perfectly and are highlighted with delicate gold bands.

The plate has a wonderful scalloped edge and is decorated with 4 medallions of varied botanical scenes that surround a landscape scene painted in varied shades of blue. The plate measures 7-1/2” in diameter, stands 1” tall and has a 5” diameter to the base.

The mug has approximate measurements of 4-1/8” tall, 2-7/8” rim diameter and a 2-1/4” base diameter, and has a 10 ounce capacity. The mug is painted in the same colors and theme of the plate…the 2 medallions depicted on each side match a pair of the medallions on the plate.

These pieces are in amazing vintage condition - no chips, cracks or scratches, repairs or crazing! .
