Freewheeling color!

I created this stained glass Pinwheel quilt piece in my home studio as part of my "Blocks From The Past" series. The pattern, also known as Hope of Hartford, traces back to the late 1800s.

Using the copper foil technique perfected by Louis Comfort Tiffany, I shaped, wrapped and soldered 25 pieces of hand-cut, high quality USA art top glass into the bright, eye-catching design. It features a center pinwheel of dark amber Cathedral with royal blue and vivid green English Muffle glass, surrounded by amber Muffle and bordered with ice white/amber stipple glass.

I finished it with black patina, polished it with stained glass wax and send it ready to hang and dance with the light with 10 inches of sturdy chain. I use only high quality materials throughout so you are able to enjoy your Stained Glass Art for decades to come.

My work is carefully packed with new and good recycled materials to ensure safe and responsible delivery.
