New York Central, International Carriers LTD, Train Paperweight, Van Gytenbeek Sales Co NY, Calvin Bullock, 1920s, Engine, Coal Tender.
With base this measures 9 3/8" long, 2" wide, 2 1/4" tall.
This is a heavy metal paperweight train by Van Gytenbeek Sales Co out of New York.
They sold and advertised top these types of trains and I found an ad in the New York Central Lines magazine from 1927.
This one has the lettering International Carriers LTD, on one side,
Van Gytenbeek Sales Co NY on the other side of the base,
5200 on the back of the coal tender car as well as New York Central on both sides.
Wonderful Detail for a cast metal paperweight, this one is in very good condition with some wear to edges and corners. A great 'souvenir' to have from the day of the railway when trains were the way to travel.
Sold as is, perfect give for your Dad or husband who loves the railways, vintage office decor.
