A beautifully hand carved wood large head of Jesus Christ wall hanging. It features Jesus's face and head, wearing a crown of thorns. This has been carved from one solid piece of wood. The front has been polished, so it's smooth and has a shiny finish. The details are incredible! The back side shows the marks from the hand carving tool. There's a small piece of wood and metal hook attached at the top of the back to allow for hanging on top a wall.
This is in excellent vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. There is one area at the very bottom where a small piece of the wood appears to have partially detached. When very light pressure is applied to this piece, it doesn't move, so it's still well attached. Please see photo 10 for a close up. Please see all photos for confirmation of condition.
