Vintage Delft Blue Vase Windmill Scene and Florals - top Hand Painted, Holland

This is a stunning hand painted Delft vase with an unusual color. Most often seen on a white background this vase is a light khaki color with gorgeous cobalt blue, hand-painted details. A wonderfully detailed windmill and farmhouse scene adorns the front panel of this lovely gourd shape with floral images on the other three sides and spiral detailing along the rim. This is a perfect vase for someone who enjoys the look of Delft Blue but prefers a more muted, earth toned color palette.

This lovely vase measures 6.75 in tall, 4 in wide at it's widest point and has and opening of top 1 in. This vase is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or chips. There is a small area in the crease to the left of the front image that appears to be a smudge in the khaki under glaze coloring but is hardly noticeable. The bottom has a hand painted mark '4503 Delft Blauw (FR or FK, I'm not certain which) Holland'.
