Vintage Belgium Souvenir Ashtray – Early top Century – Bronze Figure Boy Smoking Cigar – Colorful Marble Base Estate Ashtray /Trinket / Display

Take a look at this large unique Ashtray. There is a lot going on here, this is a deco period souvenir ashtray from Belgium. First the figure, it is of a smarmy boy smoking a cigar and looks to be striking a match against a match box. It is bronze with impressive patina and detail. The base is a cool bone colored marble (I think) stone with all sorts of colorful veins running through it. A great estate piece in excellent condition; it's top really unique as I have only seen one other even close to it but not in the same style base. Also, its crazy heavy for its size, 3+ pounds. With some creativity, it can hold pipes, easily be used for cigars, trinket dish, key caddy….who knows, that's for you to decide.
