Top Balloon - hand-turned spinning top

Ebony, Amboina burl and brass are the materials from which this finger spinning top was made. All three materials flow together in a round body and are set against each other in a rich contras. Simple ebony, at the end combined with a piece of Amboina burl, was used for the handle. The whole appearance is unobtrusive and simple, but receives a very noble finish through the combination with brass.

Since the top has a very low tip, it must be thrown as vertically as possible when playing!
