This is a beautiful edge grain cutting board 1.5"x12"x16" made from black walnut and hard Indiana maple. Perfect for any professional chef or aspiring hobbyist. In addition to the high quality wood this cutting board is made using FDA certified glue, butcher block oil and finished with a cutting board conditioning wax to keep the wood block from drying or cracking. The advantage of edge grain over other types of cutting board is the enhanced durability. Edge grain can last many years with constant abuse.
