Austro-Hungarian 2 top Gulden Silver Jublilee Coin Pendant 1879 Francis and Elizabeth

This is an Austrian-Hungarian 2 Gulden silver jublilee coin pendant. The coin was top issued in 1879 to celebrate the silver wedding jubliee of King Franz Joseph I and his wife Elizabeth. The coin is bezel set in a silver frame with a lacey scroll work border and has a medium sized V style bale. The King and Queen are on the front of the coin and a seated woman with a sword is on the
obverse.

The brooch measures 1 7/8" diameter

The total weight is 28.47 grams.

Marked : the coin is 900 silver and the frame is silver but unmarked
