Not the most traditional Christmas figurine… But I absolutely him. And to think how crazy that would've been in the late 50s... makes me love him even more.
This stunning Christmas piggy top is made by Kreiss—known for outrageous, over the top figurines. The moniker “Wilbur the Christmas Pig” is what I call this magnificent beast… an animal with this kind of presence needs a name. Wilbur comes from Charlotte Web—a pig with heart and a little moxie. And sparkle…Wilbur has green rhinestones on his snout fur nostrils and red rhinestones for eyes. Wilbur also had lashes that are thin plastic, like fine fishing line…lashes that are about 1/2” long. Fabulousity.
Wilbur is a piggy bank with motivational sayings on each side to encourage youngsters to save for Christmas. One side says “Keep coins droppin' for Christmas shopping'.” The other side says “Tuck money away for Christmas Day.”
No chips cracks repairs or paint loss. Some crazing and spots that appear to be a bit of stray paint. Does not have his stopper. Unmarked, this is by Kreiss.
