Bamboo Wave Necklace is my 999 fine silver pendant, textured and folded and oxidized and sparked by a lab created Alexandrite trillion. Elegant whimsy on a delicate Argentium silver cable chain; at 20 inches, fastened by an Argentium silver S-clasp with a snap down safety bar, and embellished with a sterling silver oxidized leaf charm.

Precious metal silver is 99.9% pure silver, making it more desirable and more expensive than sterling silver. Fine Silver is also heavier than traditional sterling, giving it a beautiful wearable weight. My fine silver creations begin as clay that can be molded, stamped and textured in any way imaginable. No two pieces will ever be the same. It will be perfectly imperfect with raw edges and a rustic, old world feel with plenty of texture. Once the piece is created, I then let it dry, sand it to smoothness, and fire it in a kiln for approximately 3 hours. Once fired, all the clay is burned away, which leaves only solid 99.9% pure silver. I then wire brush it, file and sand it some more and when I'm happy with the texture I oxidize the piece to leave dark in the low areas and to highlight the high areas or leave it in its natural white silver state. Finally the piece is hand polished to a beautiful shine.... A long process, Yes. But sooooo worth it to give my customers something they will absolutely love to wear.
