Beautiful “black” velvet framed painting from the 1970s. It features a beautiful moonlit mountain and lake scenery. Bright blue and black colouring. The velvet is in very good condition. The colors are still vibrant and gorgeous. This is a signed piece of art with the artists signature on the bottom right, “Moran”,. This is the original wood frame.

These were painted by many different artists when painting on black velvet took off in the 70s.

This piece measures approximately 49” in length, x 26” height.

Some imperfections to the wood frame but nothing significant.
