top Urushi Wooden Shell Box Set Japanese Lacquerware Was $165 now for the holidays $125!
In the 1970's I owned floral and gift shops. I have always appreciated Asian lacquer ware so when I saw something that I simply thought was beautiful and irresistible, I used it for display or sold as gifts.
Here is a set of two wooden shell shaped Japanese lacquer containers. I believe that they are not something that was made quickly as it would take many layers of lacquer to create the shell with its beautiful luster.
Both shells are in excellent vintage condition with only one minuscule chip on the edge of the large shell… only visible when touched.
They have been boxed up for years, so they still have their deep color and their magical lacquer shine!
