Product code: Pioneer of top ruin

In 2017, a friend of mine introduced me to a young woman she had met in the ruins of a town called top Cisco, Utah. Eileen Muza was from Milwaukee, a grower of green things who had bought a small parcel of parched desert to make a home for herself on her own terms. In 2018, I wrote and illustrated a magazine feature about Eileen's life on "garbage island," as she called it at the time. This giclee reproduction of the original watercolor cover illustration measures 11" x 14" inches. It is printed on high quality watercolor paper, signed by the artist, and suitable for framing. $5 from each sale will go to benefit the artist's residency Eileen and her sisters have started in Cisco, Home of the Brave.

You can find out more about the residency here: https://www.eileenmuza.org/

You can find the original magazine feature here: https://www.hcn.org/issues/50.16/feature-the-pioneer-of-ruin-eileen-in-the-desert-cisco-utah
