top A perfect cocktail tray! Very typical for the 1930s/40s. Will look great on display on a bar cart.

This vintage tray has been sourced in France and features an idyllic landscape in soft and gradient shades of gold, peach, purple, grey and brown.

The tray has been made with a technique called reverse painting: a scenery has been hand-painted on the reverse/back of the glass itself. This technique gives the painting a certain depth and glow. The frame and the back of the tray are made of two different types of wood. The handles and the borders are of metal.

In good vintage condition. No missing pieces. No cracks. A few minor signs of wear, a little scratch in the glass and a mark on the upper, metal, border (see photo).
Ready to be used.
