From my sewing room....a lovely coat I made from a vintage quilt that was hand pieced and hand quilted. Circa 50s or 60s. A beautiful family heirloom quilt made by a great grandmother and now transformed into a wearable art! Features an oversized fit, side pockets. Cuff the sleeves for a custom fit. Pink with blue and pink plaid material used on the bowtie pattern. Bust (flat across) 26" Length top (shoulder to hem) 35 " Shoulder to sleeve hem: 24 1/2" As this is made from a handmade quilt that has already lived a full life, it is possible it shows its history in the form of slight discolorations and/or areas of wear. This gives it character and is a reminder of the life the quilt has lived, and are not viewed as defects.
