These portraits are created in coordination with myself and the customer. Once the purchase is made, you may send any reference photos you'd like me to use either through Etsy messages, to my instagram @stitchme.knot or to my email stitchmeknotboutique [!at] gmail.com. Please let me know where you'll be sending them so I know where to go back to for references.

From those photos, we can chat about any changes you may request ie. different coloured shirt than the photo depicts, different hair, positioning of people etc. Family pets (dogs or cats) can absolutely be included in these portraits. When it comes to babies/toddlers, please specify if you'd like the child sitting, standing or in Mum/Dad's arms.

Your stitch will come complete in a 6 inch bamboo hoop on 14 ct Aida cloth. These hoops can accommodate 6 adult figures. Any family pieces larger will require a combination of either larger hoop, or larger count Aida cloth which decreases the size of your people. This will be discussed after purchase what the customer would prefer.

Please note that these family stitches will come with the people/animals provided in the photos and a family name text or floral at the bottom. Please let me know at checkout if you'd like to include the greenery on the sides of the family name/text.

To display your hoop there are a number of options such as sitting in a plate stand, sitting on a shelf, hanging on a wall with a simple nail or even adding a ribbon around the hardware to dangle from a fixture.

These pieces have proved to be incredibly popular for Christmas, Mother's Day and Wedding gifts .

Please allow 6-7 weeks for completion of these projects. I try my best to get them done well within that turn around time, however life happens and if you do have any questions about your order, I'm happy to answer them.
