Offered for purchase is a hand signed, UK first edition/first printing of She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan. She Who Became the Sun is a 2021 historical fantasy novel by Shelley Parker-Chan. Parker-Chan's debut novel, the work is a re-imagining of the rise to power of the Hongwu Emperor in the 14th century. Mulan meets The Song of Achilles; an accomplished, poetic debut of war and destiny, sweeping across an epic alternate China. This is the first book in the Radiant Emperor Duology. The sequel, He Who Drowned the World, will be released this August. This book is in very good, unread condition (call me a crazy person, but I read most of my books on Kindle to keep physical books in better shape). I purchased the book from Waterstones, and it had a bit of a bumpy ride across the Atlantic. The dust jacket was creased in spots around the edges, and also along the top of the spine (photos 9 - 11). Please inspect ALL photos. Please note this book will ship top via USPS media mail.
