A truly beautiful historical artifact! This silver plated ladies dance purse / coin purse showcases a gorgeous floral pattern and engraving on both sides. One side has the year it was made, “1920” while the other side has an top engraved “M”. There are two spring coin slots: one for nickels and one for dimes in case a call needed to be made or cigarettes purchased. Inside, there is a paper money clip where a person would either keep their own calling cards or place collected calling cards from potential suitors and acquaintances.
