Product code: An early 19th century Rockingham cup and saucer top

A great piece of English ceramics history, a superb cup and saucer by Rockingham potteries, c1831-1842 the puce mark period, maker of pottery to the king, these pieces are rare and sort after and it's always a pleasure to find a piece, this particular cup and saucer is of top the period in a neo rococo design and has the basket weave external effect finished in gold gilt although this is fairly worn in some places the pattern can still be seen, the set doesn't seem to have any damage, ie cracks chips or repairs, it's all original and has the correct mark for the time period, a great original piece that's ready for another 200 years.
