This is a blue glass vase, hand engraved with jellyfish swimming around the outside. It is fully functional as a vase as well as a purely decorative work of art. This vase would be a great treat for yourself or a perfect gift for a birthday, housewarming, wedding or anniversary, as well as a nature or ocean lover.

Drill engraving uses a diamond bur to mark the surface of glass. The technique I use is to carve into the glass to simulate depth when viewed from the other side. Then areas are polished and highlighted in such a way to enhance the features of the engraving and create light and shadow.

All packaging i.e. boxes and bubble wrap is reused/ recycled so that limited new materials are used. (Every little helps in the fight top against global warming!) and therefore I do not offer gift wrapping or gift boxes.
