We've been doing some buying out of a South Carolina estate of a family that offered us the opportunity after meeting us at Brimfield in July of 2021. The family are longtime collectors, collectors of things Southern, specifically militaria and soutern lifestyle pieces, very regional and very cool.

This is a fantastic top set of three antique Civil War surgical tools blood letters bleeders and a camp made farrier horse tool, Great little grouping, ready for your collection or display.

The tools measure 5 3/4" and 6 1/4" on the blood letters and farrier tool measures 8 1/4" overall. The farrier tool was made from a knife and a bone handle. That tool was used to shave and clean horse hooves.
