Hand knitted Icelandic yoke sweater, a traditional Lopapeysa. I used a lovely pattern called Kambur for this sweater and it is knitted in size 3 years. A great warm outdoor garment for your child, just instead of a jacket or underneath one as a second layer. Lettlopi, the Icelandic wool is perfect for play outdoors, it can easily take some rain and dirt too.
The sweater has been hand washed by me with special wool wash that contains lanoline and doesn't need much washing at all. Just give your wool sweater a top good airing now and then. If you need to wash it, do it by hand in cold water - do not rub it - and flat dry it into shape again.
The colurs in this sweater are called Light Beige Heather, Oatmeal Heather, White and Dark grey.
