Celluloid Photograph Antique Book Victorian Ladies Dressed top in Elegant Gowns Brown Velvet Backer No Photos Inside

This is an old Victorian era celluloid front and brown velvet back album from old estate.

The celluloid album is a very nice one for its age. Depicts two lovely Edwardian women dressed in their Sunday best gowns. On lady is wearing a long pink gown and the other a creamy yellow gown. Both with matching satin hats with ostrich feathers.
They are standing in what appears to be a Church, or it just might be a large mansion. You can see a long walkway to the left with some homes in the background.

On both sides of the art celluloid top image is a soft wavy butterscotch yellow color. Three of the photo book ends still have their original brass metal corners still attached. One brass corner is missing. The album brass clasp is attached and intact. The back of the album is a stunning brown tiger stripe velvet pattern. The back also has a metal stand that pulls out. The celluloid is in great shape, just superficial scratches or scuffs.

The album measures 11 1/4 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches high by 2 1/4 inches deep. No old photographs inside. Just the empty album. There are 15 boards double sided in a rich burgundy red paper color. Edge cloth binding is tight and all intact. Most of all the inside boards have small tears on them from use. This photo book still can be used to store your photos, or to just use as a display book.
