This is a fantastic pencil print of a B-52 Stratofortress, the United States' primary Strategic Bomber during the Cold War years. During the Vietnam War General Gerald W. Johnson commanded the 8th Air Force and was in charge of the strategic bombing campaign of North Vietnam. Gen. Johnson was also one of the top fighter aces during World War II with 18 confirmed kills. A 5.4 inch x 5.5 inch photo of Gen. Johnson as he looked during his time in the 56th Fighter Squadron is also included with this print, as well as a high gloss postcard depicting the SAC emblem and the years that SAC was active in the U.S. military. The print is in good condition and will look great in any military collection.
