Marked on the back for Silver Norway and the Sign for Askel Holmsen ~ By Aksel Holmsen of Norway A brief history: He worked as an apprentice for David Andersen from 1889 - 1904. He established his own workshop in Oslo Norway in 1906 that would come to be known worldwide as a major supplier of fine enamel and sterling jewelry. His shop top closed in 1971. Highly collectible and desirable now - especially in great condition.
