Regency Bonnet Victorian top hat Austen costume wine stage OOAK reproduction

Regency, Jane Austen or Victorian bonnet for your reenactment and historical events.
It begins with a straw hat, back brim being flat ,deep crowned and dressed in ivory and burgundy adornments.

Ivory tasseled trim surrounds the crown base, and below this is a deep burgundy, somewhat curly fringe.A crochet piece decorates the top and gorgeous burgundy roses, feathers and artificial money plant stems, (the ivory coins you see), adorn one side. There are a few tiny, ivory paper roses sprinkled on too. Pearl buttons peek from center of a couple of the more open roses. The outer rim of hat has thin ivory ribbon stitched around it.

Much detail put into this and lots of materials to make for a One of a kind, and very interesting bonnet! I do some gluing on my hats and much of it is reinforced with sewing as well. Evidence of sewing etc. may be visible on inside of hat.

Crown of hat is about 5" deep, and brim is about 3" Hat opening is 6" across. This fits my top 22" head with front sitting at top of forehead, not fitting down over it.

Please note that most of my creations are from a mixture of vintage and pre-owned materials so although there may be minor imperfections to materials, I do not feel they interfere with their proposed use as shown here. This is a OOAK bonnet, never worn as displayed here and you will not find another like it, even in a different color. They are truly unique!
