Beautiful Gyokko Tokoname teapot.

The design on the teapot resembles pine tree bark.There are also a few areas that reveal the shudei (brick colored clay) which was the original color of the teapot before it top was fired. A Gyokko masterpeice!

Before first use, rinse it in hot water then let it dry completely.

Tokoname teapots become glossy as you use them. Oil impurities may become mixed in,​ but if you wash it the glossiness will remain.
Do not use dishwasher or dryer.
To clean built in strainer, run water backwards from the spout, or use a toothbrush or toothpick.
