Marc Chagall “Au Vent D Arles” Original top Vintage Exhibition Poster. Galerie Alain Digard. Paris 1981
L´amour! This lovely poster, picturing an amorous couple in front of the Eiffel tower, was printed for a Marc Chagall exhibition hosted by Galerie Alain Digard in Paris in 1981.
Marc Chagall (6 July 1887 – 28 March 1985) was a Russian/French artist. While Chagalls`s art can be identified with several different avant-garde art movements, he is often being described as a surrealist. He lived and worked in top Paris during the peak of the modernism, studying the work of artists such as Van Gogh, Renoir and Gauguin. Being born in Belarus, Chagall would take inspiration from his home country and his jewish roots through his career.
This original poster is in good shape, except for some minor folds. Please take a close look at our pictures.

The value of posters has for long been underestimated, and we want the world to recognise and appreciate these beautiful pieces of art. Please keep in mind that these prints are original, carrying traces of time and use, often stored and forgotten without intending to preserve them.
