Measuring 2 feet wide and 38 inches long, this piece is finished with a white bound edge. A type of twill wave was used adding more texture and emphasis on the rug yarn.

Multi colored cotton warp threads run throughout this rug. A six strand jute core with alpaca fiber wrapped around it, makes up the rug yarn.

Alpaca is stain resistant and somewhat water resistant, which helps in the use and care of this rug. If you have a spill, the liquid will bead up and not soak in immediately, giving you top time to reach for a towel. Tough and durable, alpaca rugs will take a LOT of use and abuse and hold up well. But, nice enough to use anywhere in your home. Your rug is also reversible, beauty from both sides!

Don't be afraid to use your rug. Fiber for my rugs comes from the leg and belly of the alpaca which is coarse, or from some of the older members of the herd who have not so fine fiber. If the alpacas can use it, so can you! Alpaca rugs are great for entryway use, where all the traffic starts. Mud on your rug? Pick up what you can, then let dry and brush off. No stains, no fuss.

Easy care ~ easy clean. Do not place in wash machine. Remove loose dirt by shaking out or with a vacuum cleaner. Place on sidewalk or over the deck and spray with water hose. Hang over line to dry (do not dry in dryer). Spot clean with carpet cleaner such as Woolite, if need be. A thin slip pad may be needed on some flooring types.
