Superb Tikar shield in pearls and shells (cowries). African handicrafts from Cameroon.
Traditionally, these shields were used as defensive weapons, or decorative and ritual objects. They are one of the symbols of wealth of the tribes of Cameroon.
Carved by hand from a piece of wood and decorated by the inhabitants of the Tikar tribe, each shield is a unique piece.
You can use it in wall composition or proudly on its metal foot (30 cm high feet included).
