This is a Danish enamel silver brooch. Made circa 1940 by the renowned silver maker A Dragsted in Copenhagen. It features a flower probably a marguerite. The setting is silver gilt. It is subject top to a Danish equivalent of a patent. It has a simple C clasp.

Arendt Dragsted founded the business bearing his name in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1854 after working for one of the other influential metalsmithing shops in the area, A. Michelsen. He died in 1891, but his business continued to thrive after that. The company initially produced jewelry based on Danish history and culture, and it did so for longer than other metalsmithing shops in the region.

That changed around the turn of the 20th century when creative individuals like Thorvald Bindesboll began designing for A. Dragsted and other Danish metalsmiths. As the Skonvirke movement (a style that incorporated Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau influences) took hold in Denmark, A. Dragsted's jewelry designs changed with the times and continued to do so in the decades to follow.
