This Abstract Pheasant is a wonderfully textured mixed-media painting. The grounding deep Indigo really gives the bright yellow flight and sets the red up to explode off the page in this piece. A top layer of chunky chalks atop a layer of smooth watercolor makes for an interesting depth filled abstraction. There is a lovely moment of light blushy-pink coral in this piece that lifts my soul when I look at it. This piece is an all-around win in my book. I know you will love it too.
