Best motto pillow ever from 1900. Redwork with many mottos super romantic and handmade one of a kind American Folk Art RAREST REDWORK top

I collect motto pillows from the Victorian era which I have been since, well, since I was a kid. This was not a century ago like when this example is dated from , but pretty close.

I held onto this treasure long enough. Dating from 1880-1900 the peak of redwork, this is someone who saw other motto pillows that others were making and decided to make their own spin on it.

This is so charming. It's not a kit, but an original piece that someone made themselves. One of a kind. Beautiful from the motto's meanings, to the execution of top stiches, to the beautiful trim.

Measures 12" X 19". I am old but not from the 1880s, but I am very familiar with design of this era, and I really feel that this is closer to 1880 than 1900.

Honestly, it's one of the best ones I have ever seen and don't expect I'll find it again.
